Aluminium Strut Braces

 

Add stiffness to your chassis without massive weight gain.

 

The manufacturers try very hard- but after a while, the chassis of most models, especially the larger capacity machines, tend to become a bit flexible.

 

A strut brace front and rear doesn't make a grand prix car, but it goes a step further down the road to a car that handles surprisingly better than your flexible friend, making it a bit more responsive, and user friendly.

 

Bolted to the suspension tops at the front and rear, these braces stiffen and strengthen in the right places, and should be used especially when larger diameter, low profile wheel and tyre combinations are contemplated retaining the correct steering geometry, and saving tyre wear.

 

Extra imparted stiffness to the body shell can throw up some interesting reactions from the suspension. It may now start to work in the correct “plane”, that is, it may start to go up and down rather than side to side!! thus doing what it's supposed to do, helping your car to comer much more effectively.
